There goes my week 1 of June holidays... )': But well, i've been spending it fruitfully okay, i promise!! :) I studied, efficiently!

So... here's my post for Batam trip which daddy didnt join cause he'd to work.

First of all, WELCOME TO BATAM, Post. For the first time, im going to Batam, following a tour!

I wasnt able to break in time, and had apparently banged into another vehicle and scared the worker! LOOOOL, JOKE OF THE DAY! Remember the previously, similar incident happened at LUGE, Sentosa! (It just implies that i can never drive -.-)

Apart from these, we went for body massage! I personally didnt quite like it, probably cause im just not used to it. But nevertheless, it was the best trip i'd so far in Batam Island! I wouldnt recommend shopping there cause it's probably around the same price as Singapore's. :)

SO HEYYYY! O LEVEL MT IS OVEEEEER!

I... Hopefully I can get at least an A2! Hopefully yeah. :) It's probably one of the best Chinese exam i'd sat for. Not only did i prepared myself so many days ahead, i managed to complete the paper on time!!

As usual Botanic Gardens. "Though you've been there ample times, dont even think that it's boring, because as photographers, you've to look at things from different perspectives! You'll then make awesome photos!!" But unfortunately, it was raining pretty heavily there so I couldnt take much photos. .___. Plussssss, my shoes sole came off. )):

This photo above is my first manually taken shot! Like first, better ones. :) Heh, still isnt very well focused though. Cause Tee used the word, " ok lah" instead of his usual, "hey this is good!" So yeah, i kinda got some HINTS there. Pretty much sure that my skills were getting rusty... /:

HOLA EARTHLINGS!
It's been wayyyy too long since i log onto my computer for 'leisure'! So yes, exams are over, except for Science practical. Overall was pretty badly done. Imagine writing "I didnt study so i cant do this questions." on one of your scripts, like how I did. Not trying to be proud of my action but y'know, I really didnt had time for History. (After all it's in the past, who cares?!)
Though MYE is over, O level mother tongue is probably in 2 days. ._. Pretty much worried about it, hopefully im able to clear this paper. Then, followed by Prelim 1. Argh, another 4-5 months of so. We can do it!!

So as promised, about a month ago, i'll update with regards to my 16th birthday yeah! Here it is:

My apology, readers. Havent been updating this space for quite some time, which will be the usual case for now as I AM JUST LESS THAN 6 MONTHS TO Os. Even now, im taking off some time from my revision to blog. Well, im more or less doing fine, except for the fact that im having more stress to handle & harder time to manage.

So what's new yeah!

12th April 2011, I FINALLY TURN 16!

I was always looking forward to becoming 16. Not only I get to catch NC16 movies (first barrer to cross) , im also NO LONGER A CHILDREN! Hah, well more like a grown-up now. :)

Though it's my O level year, i thought, much celebration took place! Dinner with family & relatives! Coolest thing on earth where Stef, Phia & myself each brought a friend along which made mummy pay more. :B But nevertheless it was awesome!

And i'd received the BEST BEST BEST presents in the world! Poloroid from TeeJD, cards and letters from the others! And yes, HANDMADE FTWWWWW!

P/s: I'll post photos of my birthday in my next post!At the same time, i'll too update on the recent Bio experiment we'd on flower dissection! (My sunflowerrrrr!) But before that, i should probably give a sneak preview!

I need this space to pour out some of my personal views.

We all know how unfair it is to be unrecognised, especially when you deserved it. Yes, I quitted my CCA Jan or Feb last year, probably not officially but everyone knows, I’m out. Since then, Ballet was more than my passion. It took up the role of my CCA too. Lessons were three to four times a week, just like those CCAs in school, or probably even more. Unfortunately, there’re some teachers who’re so box-minded that CCA kind of thing means, school restricted. If we were to bring up the root reason of having a CCA, it’s actually to develop an all-rounded student and by encouraging one to have a CCA, CCA points system was introduced. To my dismay, it has now become a source of threaten. Teachers are now telling me, “Joey, quit dancing, it is useless. Unlike cca, no glory is brought to school and even worse, NO CCA POINTS. Neither will your testimonial look good.” I felt very much insulted and hurt at that point of time... You’ve your pride, so do I. Dancing isn’t useless, in fact it’s way more meaningful than you know. Furthermore, dancing-studying, aint I already considered an all-rounder? Wasnt that the initial objective? But sad to say, some teachers are just stubborn, they refused to sign my quit-cca-form, unless I’m part of another CCA. Shouldnt they had tried to be in my shoes, understood my situation then make a decision? Honestly, I myself know how little difference it’ll make. Due to time constraint (I’ll be busy having ballet lessons), I will again have a below-75%- attendance so why bother another CCA?

I’m fine not having any CCA points, I’m fine being a no-cca-girl. BUT IM DEFINITELY NOT FINE BEING A SO-CALLED NO-DISCIPLINE-GIRL-JUST-BECAUSE-I-DONT-HAVE-A-CCA. Yes, CCA may change better one’s character, but this DOES NOT IMPLY THAT SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE A CCA ISNT DISCIPLINE.

Whether glory was brought to my school, I strongly believe I deserved some recognition for making an effort to not only be academically incline but also in an Art form. Also an apology for being looked down on.

So how was everyone’s Term 2 week 1? Mine wasn’t very good.
Falling sick on the first day of school, and getting 2 days of MC after that. And once i recovered, i could feel smth called, stress – running after me.

Week 2, April is here. Oh Goooooodness. Sigh, we’re 4 weeks to MYE! I better be readyyyyyy. By getting ready, im trying my best to resist my temptation of snapping photos by safe keeping my camera in my dry box, making it more troublesome to be taken out. And so the lazy me wont use it. BUT IT HURTS YOU KNOW, I REALLY MISS MY CAMERA! ):

Week 3 shall be a breeze. Two days of lessons which are over, & three days of learning journey. It wont be as tiring as lessons, but still, i find learning journey a total waste of time.

Yes, i may be a few days belated but i still wanna dedicated this post to my beloved M. Teee-John-Daaah. Daddy!

It was an epic one!

Who starts a friendship with an argument? Well, US, MARCO & JOEY! Im proud to say! Unfortunately, we werent given a chance to exchange names, what more about contacts. But, that was the end of our story! Somehow, you found me on facebook with our one mutual friend, Ethen. Now it has grown to 16 or so? :)

After communicating with you over facebook & all, i'd a total different impression of you. No longer that guy who keeps going against me. In fact you were someone understanding, faithful & reliable. That was when the most unexpected things happened! Our real friendship begins.

Soon, you got your DSLR. I was extremely jealous! ): But of course, with your really awesome character, you brought me along to photo hunt!

This was probably the first photo i took of you!

Henderson waves! You bear me when i was complaining & complaining & complaining! In the end, we climbed the stairs & reached our destination!

Oh yes, a jogger-photographer took this photo for us yeah? :D

In terms of finance, you'd controlled me tightly. Psycho-ing me not to spend money on useless stuffs (YAMI) & finally with all the savings here & there, i got my DSLR! Of course with mummy's funds too.

Then, you led me on my very first photo hunting session with my own camera. You often tell me how wonderful Botanical Gardens can be photo hunting venue. So i was there myself to experience it. Being a slow learner, you were really patient with me. Repeating things 4 to 5 times had become your routine, because you know how slow i digest theories..

On our second visit to the Botanical Gardens, you rented an extra lens. Then, i understand how tough it was to be a photographer!

Based on the photo above, anyone will probably know how determine a person you're. It doesnt matter how much you were perspiring, you just wanted to produce a photo to that satisfies you. I realised while you were busy taking photos, my camera was always pointing at you & producing the shutter sound. Instead of the plants, you became my model.

Twice, we entered the Singapore Visitors' Centre to ask for directions! One to Henderson Waves, other to old Railway station!

& somehow, i snapped a wonderful shot of you! (It still looks so plastic!!)

WEEK ONE IS OFFICIALLY OVERRRRRRR! Honestly, TGIF.

Im already feeling mentally exhausted about school. But somehow i am motivated to study, which is awesome!

So what's on now! POLY OPEN HOUSES!! :D Ive pretty much decided what i wanna pursue after my Os . & therefore Poly is most probably my choice.

So far i've been to these 3 polys' open house. My desired course, Early childhood & psychology happens to only be offered in NP. I shall be determined & work towards my goal!

Best thing about open houses are the FREE gifts that you'll receive! (That's where your aunty-ness come into good use!)

1. I finally got my NP teeeeee! Guess how i got that! Heh, we'd to do NP's cheer, in front of the camera (means you're film) & the huge crowd & the shirt is yours! While stock last though. & yeap, Xenia Amanda Zalifa myself. It was pretty much embarrassing yet fun! :D So yes, i got my FREE shirt okayy!

2. SP gives stickys! (How i wished it was YAMI!) HAHAHA.

& yeah, many many more free gifts! (Magazines, colour pencils, notebooks & etc!) It was a good opportunity to get to know more about the courses that im interested in. If you do have time, do drop by! :D

~My camera is with my uncle now. I hope it's well taken care off! :D (My babbbby) Hope he enjoys his trip too!

~Test next week. Sigh, you can totally feel the stress coming. Gonna take this weekends to revise all that i'd learnt so far!

A showcase was & is still being held at Resorts World. Being a not so fashion person, i dont quite appreciate his artwork... But nevertheless, it was a good experience. (The fact that the tickets were free, so why not just take a look! HAHAHA)

Turning 16 & entering my final year of education in Secondary school life. It'll be a crucial year for most of us.

2010. A year full of memories, both sorrows & happiness. It has passed fast, real fast. It wasnt an easy year. I'd been throughout pretty much. Thanks to all my family members & friends who stayed by my side. I've, indeed matured a lot! It's hard to believe, I feel do blessed, for the first time in life. I've learnt that I should always always treasure what I have & not be upset because of what I don't. Nevertheless, it was a meaningful year, very much.

I hereby wish for a even better 2011, for both myself & the people around me!
I'll be counting down over at my cousin's place! ^^

"If I don't, Karma will hit you." - You've to believe in Karma in other to find peace your way. Revenge is bad. You may even hurt yourself unknowingly. Therefore, learn to let things happen naturally.

One will only know how much he or she has/had hurt others by experiencing the same pain. Though life is unfair, God isn't. He knows when to give & take. Same goes for us beings, we should expect a price to pay whenever we've harm others in one way or another. Think before you act, always. Similarly, if you've hurt someone, it is your responsibility to ensure the that hatred between both of you doesn't exist. Then, Karma will go less hard on you, at least.

Yet at times, the past just doesn't count. Nothing is in control when your mind, heart & soul has a revenge to take. Calm down & think deeply. What's more important, to take revenge due to the past or your bright future. Take a break fom hatred, it gives you more space to breathe. At the same time, you'll definitely feel so much happier.

13 Dec 2010 : It was my date with Sophia the Doggy! She's my most beloved cousin.

"You're always late," says this Dog. ): Haha, okay okay, apologies! Left for NEX. But apparently our first impression of the shopping center isnt really good. Yeah, it's true that you can find anything (Yogurt stalls which is NOT YAMI, Library, Cinema & etc.) you want there but personally, i dont find it a good place to shop.

Town area is so much better! Suntec. :D Pizza hut for lunch!

& OMG, i only know that day that Suntec has YAMI!

My idea, we strolled to Raffles Place.

You dont know how fair God is! Though i'm not over with things, at least i'm leading a fairly wonderful life now! :D Everything feels like a breeze. My family, my friends & just everyone!

Somehow, i feel like im growing up again! & I now learnt that i dont need anything in return, because what matters more is, everyone around me is living as fine as i am! :D

Having courage & then putting in your best! It comes in a package. As long as your best is done, there's nothing to regret! If things doesnt go your way, just accept & treat it as experience gained. In fact, think of it positively, nothing is lost! (Of course, dont do anything wrong.)

So to anyone having similar problems to me: It's alright to cry once or twice. But not thrice. Because, eventually, you'll have to get over with it & live on with life! :B Whether you like it or not, you've to. So why not appreciate what you've & ignore what you dont. Then you'll realise how fantastic your life is. SMILEEEEEE. :)

18 November 2010!

We'd our small scale ballet aunties outing. Some of them couldnt make it due to CCAs, injuries & etc. Nevertheless, it was still enjoyable! :) We've our day photographer, Julniee. & Night photographer, Olivia! Thank you my dears! Due to the unpredictable weather ,we decided not to picnic. Went bowling instead.

I'd cravings for YAMI, again! Asked directions around just to get to Raffles place for that yogurt! :D It was supposed to be a half an hour walk from marina square to Raffles area. But we took more than an hour to reach. Every 2 steps we take, we stopped by to snap a photo! :B It was funnnn.

I remembered while doing these jump shots, a group of policemen were patrolling. They wanted to screen us but the other policemen said no. HAHA, i guess we just looked to decent? C:

People stopped by to stare at me climb up. They probably thought i was about to commit suicide, especially they way i moved. My ballet friends were shocked too! Haha, I cant stop laughing everytime i think of the tourists' "OMG" shocking face!

As usual, Saturdays! :D Ballet in the morning & out with Xinhui in the afternoon!

Met at Plaza Sing. Shop around but can't find anything that we wanna buy!

Except, YAMI YOGURT! :D Cravings cravings cravings!

I just decided to purchase a medium cup today! :D But it's still not sufficient. I wanted more, honestly. (Even now when i'm blogging, i'm drooling... )

While i was happily enjoying my Yogurt, this group of students approached me.

So yes, I did some donation & got spam-med with FREE gifts! Which include a stalk of Daisy! For some odd reasons, I wanted a Sunflower this morning, but Daisy is fine! (Emphasize the word FREE! :D )

Just so happened, Xinhui was dealing with my DSLR, snapping upglam shots of me. & we just decided to take a photo together! Heh, they were really really awesome people who introduced other yogurt stalls to me. It's amazing how small the world is. We've friends in common. All 4 of us! :)

They'd samples today & i was staring at it. The prints were SHINee, in Korean. As i was communicating with the staff, she told me that a couple stared at the sweet for a long long time & couldnt figure out what was written there. Heh, so proud of myself. (Just at that moment) Oh well, my DSLR didnt do a good job in taking the photos so i shant post it.

I've to say, i'm so damn attracted by these 2 bears! Isn't it adorable? Cost: $1950! Like-a-chio huh.

Yay, we sat by the river for a while & chatted. Memories memories & memories! :) It's so wonderful. Just talking about how much i've been through, especially this year. I'm glad it'll come to an end, very soon. I guess, we've all matured & changed. Even myself, i'm already feeling it. I miss those innocent times!

Back into Central! Guess what we found? FREE Candy Floss! Hahahahahah, i totally jump!!

This was the most Epic of the Day!

That young man there prepared the candy floss & was about to give it to me. I didnt put my hands out, but asked, "Is it FREE?" That man gave me the priceless look with the OMG face & said, "YAHHHHH!" Then, as i was about to take it, these 2 wonderful friends of mine who only know each other for less than an hour pair up & laughed at me. Yes, Xinhui & Marco? They immediately burst out laughing & hid behind the pillar. It went on for at least 5 minutes okay. Goodness me, very funny meh?! .___. Okay, yes, i think it's quite funny too. Well, i couldnt really resist my auntyness, you see!

We stood at the position for quite some time. & After quite some time, i realised the guy quite good looking lah actually. (Y) - Hehhh. Oh then, something happened again. I couldnt believe it, i made a 5 year old cry! I bet she'll now hate me for life. I felt super guilty but can't help it! I'm sorry girl. (I shant explain the situation. )

& this man here, he's so lonely! Heh, take a photo of him to entertain him. ;D Well, he almost got scolded because of us so yeah, i shall not be bad! But well, he was really friendly!

Anyway, to both Marco & Xinhui: Thanks a lot! My day was made awesome, credits to both of you! I honestly have no idea why i was that crazy! I just know how happy i felt at the end of the day. :) Let's three go out together someday!

YESTERDAY, MY DSLR OFFICIALLY TURNS 1 WEEK OLD! & soon, i wont even keep track. Heh.

Yes, i finally went there again, with my DSLR & took some photos. I'm still not really familiar with my camera though. .__. I really wish someone (Daddy) was there to guide me yesterday!

I really really enjoy the scenery at Marina area, it's extremely pretty. Someday sometime, i wish. :)

YES, ONE MORE DAY OF CONQUER O LEFT! :D

Honestly, i dont find it effective at all. Lessons failed. E-learning also failed. -.- What rubbish!!

We've teachers who send pupils out of class just because they dont bring their Physics workbook. Then, students have to write this green reflection which asks stupid questions like, "how do you think you've affected the people around you?" & etc. is supposed to be handed to the general office! Worst part; Physics workbook wasnt even used, why bring?! I LOL-ed at the teacher. Seriously, PABOOOOO! :DD -Koreannny is awesomeeey!

So yes, i love my day. Apart from school.

Met up with Someone & did all my to-do-list in one day! I feel so accomplished. ^^

First was Subway. You wanted some other food but i wanted subway, you allowed me to choose. Then, you wanted beef which i dont take. & Because of me again, you couldnt eat something you wanted.

Later, we left for Orchard! :D I'd my YAMI YOGURT which you dont enjoy. ): & therefore, you've no idea how happy yami yogurt makes me.

I feel super super super bad lah please! Pampering me too much, probably. D:

Finally, we both agreed to watch MEGAMIND! At least, it's something you wanted to do.

It's such a hero-ish show! Heh, i wished i'd super powers too! Coooolio. :D Or maybe even a Hero as boyfriend!

So sorry for leaving this space empty for 6 days or so! Everytime i wanna use the computer, it's occupied! Finally, i'm given a chance.

Just left with 2 days of school & one day of O level paper, and the torture will be overrrr! :)

Delayed: Thanks to mummy, i was able to purchase something that i long wanted since beginning of the year! Now that i've debts to clear, i gotta go on a save-money-plan!

Nikon D5000. If you ask why didnt i buy Canon, i'll say, "i dont know why, i just dont like the feel." HAHAHA, it's not common to hear this cause Canon supposed to be pretty user friendly.

Anyway, I'm still new to it, kinda OMG when i touched it. :O So yes, i'll learn well, from my daddy! We went photo hunting at Botanical Gardens last Saturday! Argh, i regretted not bringing my 55-200m lens!

We owned the same DSLR! Please be really patient when teaching me. I know, i'm such a slow learner!

I dont really appreciate flowers & plants. But it was a rather good experience to be at BG. :) As a Singaporean, i'm kinda shameful to not know BG as a family-day-place. I wanna picnic there, someday!

What a Saturday! My morning was fine. Ballet has never been un-fine, has it? :D Hehehe, i love my AUNTIES ttm!
